The mention of airport food doesn't usually inspire joy in the hearts of foodies, but this place should! Yes, it's on the expensive side folks, but it's the AIRPORT- You know, the place where you pay $5 for a brown banana?! Anyway, our flight was delayed and I was starving, so we chose La Chula and can't say enough good things! First, our waitress was amazing- Attentive, friendly, and our food was out to us in less than 10 minutes. My steak burrito was delicious, my wife's chorizo quesadilla might have been even better! All of the food was hot, fresh, and has a spicy kick. We both loved our entrees but the highlight of the meal was their platano frito- YUM (and I'm Colombian, so I know great Latin food). Feeling hungry before your flight? This is THE PLACE to go!

I was on a layover at LaGuardia Airport and stopped for lunch at this restaurant. Service was very good and fast. I ordered a shrimp burrito and it came out in 5 minutes. It was tasty and had a kick to it which I liked. The place serves wine and beer also. I was impressed by how clean it looked. They also have takeout. It's a bit expensive but what isn't at the airport. Check it out.
