Brooklyn Diner (LaGuardia)

The place looks great, however, the service was poor and the food was bad. I ordered a turkey sandwich, which had four slices of turkey, and literally eight french fries. The sandwich had no flavor. Service was weak, and wait time for the food was more than 20 minutes. I understand this is not a fast-food restaurant, but this is unusual for a restaurant at an airport. I usually do not write reviews, but I felt I had to do it this time. Hope these comments help their owners to fix the issues they have.

Absolute worst service we have ever had! We came for breakfast and it took for ever. Pancakes tasted toxic. Understaffed.

Edwin gave excellent service. Very attentive despite being short staff. Turkey club was a lot for one person but worth the cost. Quite and no rush atmosphere. I would come again.

Food was good. Service was good. I didn't like that they wanted us to add a tip before any service was performed so we left money on the table at the end. I was happy. Until the next day when I get an email where they added an additional $12.39 onto my bill. It just says "additional charge". There is not a phone number, email, or anyway to contact them. This is FRAUDULENT charges. Will not go there again. I will also advise my clients not to either. Check your receipts!!

Great, sincerely caring service! Our waiter was doing everything and more to provide all things we need even before we asked. The manager easily allowed us to find a game on tv and to increase the volume. Other servers were happy when they could do that for us. Simple things that make people feel cared for but so hard to find nowadays. My salmon plate was healthy and hearty. My boyfriend’s beyond burger (all modifications we requested were provided, usually the kitchens mess them up) was juicy and tasty. Thank you for the great level of hospitality!

Edwin was an awesome server. Kept his eye on my table and came right away when needed. Really friendly and helpful. The turkey sandwich I ordered was great as well... Would definitely still here again.

Food was terrible. Avocado toast had no avocado but some green avo paste or something. Service was more than annoying and slow.

Ordered pastrami to go…no mustard on the sandwich or on the side…meat sliced super thick & almost impossible to bite without tearing the rye bread! Would never go back!!

It was not busy at all, but multiple servers just ignored us. One of them pointed to a table though after seeing me and my boyfriend waiting. We ordered using the qr code on the table. No one came by, no one spoke with us. 15 or so minutes later our server brought our drinks. He still didn't say a word to us, looked half asleep. There was a wonderful blondish female server in another section who seemed delightful and talked to her guests but me and my boyfriend were thoroughly ignored in our seperate section by our male server. I don't know why they ask for a tip when our server didn't say a word to us and just set down drinks and food. Really frustrating.
