There was so many people at the front that we didn't get seated until 1:40pm only for them to tell us that the brunch menu will be over in 15 minutes and we will have to wait until 2:20 to order anymore food. Not a big deal. We placed some very rushed brunch orders and noticed that there was so much traffic and chaos in the main room so we asked to get seated at a table in the next room. They did.  Once we got to the next room we ordered drinks which were reasonably priced. We ordered the margarita flight (la churumbela) it was $30 ( for a shot sized margarita) by this time it was 2:20 and we placed our dinner order. We had two orders of enchiladas, the sinaloense ceviche, the shrimp that hangs on the line, and a queso fundido.  This is where it starts getting bad. We saw maybe 4 tables get seated after we placed our dinner orders and all of them received their food orders before us. We waited exactly 1 hour and 24 minutes. The manager was kind enough to come over and talk to us about the issue and was apologetic.  When the food arrived, the enchiladas were not great. They didn't taste authentic at all.  The shrimp was cold and my ceviche was not cooked in lime properly. At this point we were over it. I appreciated the manager comping our dinner meals but it just wasn't a good experience. I can see myself returning for cute drinks but that's about it. Go to javiers if you want expensive GOOD Mexican food.
