SUR Restaurant and Lounge

Went here for my wife who follows the show this was featured in, she was happy. Nice job to the entire staff that took great care of us.

We were a huge fan of the show so when my son decided in January he wanted to come here I booked our reservation. Very disappointing. Drinks were meh... food was under meh. The overall was not as polished as the show presents. It needs a little TLC. The bathroom was zero stars. I don't think Lisa has ever stepped foot in one.

I went to SUR on my own in August while on a work trip. It was around 5 pm on a Sunday and I was able to sit in the lounge near the bar. I tried a couple of different cocktails and they were both delicious. I got the famous goat cheese balls. They don’t really live up to the hype and absolutely needed more chutney to cut the richness. I also ordered the cobbler, and while not the typical southern style, it was super yummy. I was very excited to see Peter (yes he actually works there) and he graciously took a selfie with me. My server was fantastic. I wish I’d gotten her name, but she was super friendly, efficient and nice. The music was a little loud for my taste, but it was ok. I would definitely reccomrnd SUR, whether you’re a pump rules fan or not.

Not only was the food at Sur Restaurant top-notch, but the presentation was also impeccable. Each dish was beautifully plated, showcasing the culinary artistry that went into creating them. Everything was awesome except our table, it sorta sucked. It was kind of tucked in a corner and partially behind a door. The food was good but with such a difficult seeting location went to the bar after and had way more fun enjoying the atmosphere and people watching. Thank you, Lisa and staff

Peter. That's all I kept hearing about when we ate at Sur and after we left. Yes, the service was phenomenal. Yes, the food took my palette to places it had never been before. Our server was awesome. She checked on us all through the evening. But that all pales in comparison to my wife falling over for Peter. I don't write this with malice. I write this with jealous envy, that baby Jesus put him together like that. The long hair. The smile. The shirt half buttoned. I knew her meeting Peter was gonna be a problem when I saw him. Cause next thing you know, it was Peter this, and Peter that. Gawd, would you just marry the guy already! It's kind hard to remember our servers name when you hear "Peter" the whole time. Some of this was my fault though. In my own ignorance, I took Peter to our table........BIG MISTAKE! As you can see in the photos how she leans into Peter and just stands next to me, her husband of 14 years. Just a warning to the husbands, boyfriends or that guy taking a girl out on the first date, if Peter is at the front, wait till he goes to the bathroom or something.
