Cecconi's West Hollywood

I regret not trying this place sooner because after dinner last night, I would say this is definitely in my top five favorite Italian restaurants in LA list. It’s in a really busy and fun part of town. This part of West Hollywood is not as busy as the North end so parking isn’t as bad but it’s still difficult at certain times. We were able to find a metered street spot right out front, but we were just lucky with the timing. Otherwise it will be $15 for valet. I especially love how the inside is designed. It has a classy 1920s feel to it and I especially love how dark it is inside, and how each table has its own lighting. It really adds to the mood. They also have a very large and busy bar that had every seat taken during our entire meal. Our server was very polite and all of our items came out quickly after placing the order. They have a fairly large menu with a lot of great options on it. The hardest part for me was narrowing down which ones I wanted to order because there were so many that I wanted to get. I started off with the Whipped Ricotta and thought it was fantastic. It’s a really sweet and cheesy start to the meal. Next was the Fried Artichokes and honestly they were some of the best that I’ve ever had. First off, you can eat the entire thing and secondly, the flavors were just terrific. Next came the Steak Tartare and I thought it was wonderful. The black truffle really adds to the flavor and I especially loved the quail egg. For our entrées, we chose the Butternut Squash Tortellini and the Lamb Ragu Cavatelli. Both were good sized portions and were cooked perfectly. The flavors were just very rich and we enjoyed every bite. They did have some good dessert options but by this time of meal, we were just too full. Overall one of my favorite Italian restaurants in all of Los Angeles. I definitely would recommend to anyone for any occasion, and I plan to be back in the future. Absolutely lovely! We were celebrating my birthday last night with a seating at 9:30pm. Undoubtedly it was one of the best experience we've ever had! The atmosphere was electric; full of beautiful people dressed to impress at the cool bar area along with great music. The food was exquisite and delicately presented on a coordinate manner, which is never easy on a full house! The service was simply outstanding from beginning to end. What a chic place with a great vibe!

As an Italian, I can say with confidence that the food here is average at best, but the service and atmosphere make up for it. Great location and vibe.

The food was above ok, nothing special and I've definitely had better for less than half the price. Our servant was kind of nice, he didn't speak English very well and we had to repeat ourselves a lot which is ok, but when we got our food, we're a family of 3 and only 2 came out and for some reason he thought we wanted to share a Bolognese which was small, he then put on a bit of attitude and said, "you did not sir, you didn't order another", which we told them we did, so another came out in about 5 mins which was amazing. Now as I said I've had way better Italians for less than half the price, this is because it was £300 for 3 small meals and 4 drinks. I've had better Italian for much cheaper and I only recommend this place for people ready to rinse their money on ok food. The atmosphere was nice. Parking: There's a valet outside the place that does the job.

Everything was perfect, food, drinks, and vibes. However, they categorize themselves as a membership organization and not a restaurant. I lost out on credit card points due to their false MCC.

Hopping on a Tuesday night for a reason! Excellent as always; I’ve never had anything less than exceptional here. In the warmer months it’s lovely to sit outside, but the atmosphere inside is upbeat and classy. The soup, salads, and pizzas are a perfect meal - everyone is happy! I’ve been coming here for a long long long time, and it’s great to be back! Vegetarian options: The lentil soup is perfection! A large bowl - could be a meal or to share - Vegan. The salads are outstanding as well!
