Pluckers Wing Bar

I was floored by how delicious Pluckers was! The staff was super friendly, and Pluckers was just an all-around great time!

Great service, food, quick and attentive waiter! We drove 5 hours for a tournament and we will always stop here when in Round Rock! Totally worth it!

I rarely travel up to cedar park but when I do I try to go to pluckers with my friends that live up in that area. When I was sat with my two friends the server ( a 40-45 year old woman) asked for our id’s when we asked for a round of drinks. We happily gave our ids and watched a long scan from our server. (By the way im 25 and my friends are a married couple also 25, ive worked in service industry for 10 years and been a server and bartender for 4) She told us shes old enough to be our mother and that we look “12”. I hope she was just having a bad day and isnt normally this aggressive but she seemed like she was miserable. After checking our ids she left. Another employee came over to check our ids again which seemed strange. We all have texas ids and told them if they’d like to scan it they should but they said they dont have a scanner. The second person that checked our ids said they look fine and walked away to get our drinks. At this point it felt excessive and I wasnt going to have much understanding, as a server it takes a lot to not tip 20% but there was no way I was gonna tip well so we walked out before receiving anything. Genuinely impressive how quickly she offended a table of people who have worked in service most their lives. Hope this woman either has a better day or decides to do something with her life that doesnt make her miserable.

Ordered a basket of boneless wings to go, with two flavors. When I walked in, I wasn’t greeted and felt like a nuisance simply for being there. I asked if there would be ranch in my bag (as ordered) and they didn’t know. My basket came with maybe 5 waffle fries, all incredibly soggy. I picked my food up maybe 3 mins after the time I was told it would be ready. The chicken itself was okay, but I ordered these because the first time I had them they were very crispy and there was practically no crisp to these. Maybe just don’t order to go, or maybe the first location I went to (Round Rock) was better. Definitely don’t feel like this was worth anywhere near $20

I usually love Pluckers. It’s actually one of my favorite restaurants. We eat there all the time. We sat down and tried to order a couple of drinks. Our server was super short with us from the beginning. Our server asked for our IDs and we happily gave her them. I even made a joke that I was glad she asked because I don’t get asked as much anymore. She made a stank face when looking at my very real Texas ID and looked me up and down and told us she was old enough to be our mother. I said oh and my husband said “Don’t get asked much anymore haha” and she responded “yeah well you all look 12”. Pretty disrespectful to say to 2 grown men and a 25 year old woman. She gave us our IDs back and left the table. Another employee came back and asked to see our IDs again. At this point we were super confused because they were all the same valid texas IDs. I told her she was welcome to scan them and she said they didn’t have scanners. I told her we were 25 and married and she responded “well I’m 19 and married”. Weird service. I was a server and bartender for years and would never fathom telling my customer they look 12. Why anyone thinks it is okay to comment on someone else’s appearance baffles me. Let alone one of your tables. We left before we even got our drinks.
