Went for brunch and arrived a little after 11am. We were seated immediately & greeted by a wonderful & attententive waitress. She made great food recommendations & even informed us of which items contained coconut due to food allergy. The mimosas were delicious as well as the food we ordered. Dj arrived around 12:30 & played a great selection of music. We plan to visit again with more friends.
Loud music, average food chicken was not juicy. 20% gratuity added in bill
I chose this brunch spot because online they advertised jerk lamb and eggs. When we arrived they did not have that on the menu. The music was extremely loud I could barely hear the people at the table with me. I ordered waffles and sausage for my daughter she's 5 years old. The chicken sausage they served was so spicy even for me. I felt like the waitress should have warned us of the spiciness considering it was being served to a child. The cornbread with the blueberries was awesome we also enjoyed a mimosa flight so we can taste all the different flavors of mimosa that they serve. The orange blossom and pomegranate mimosas were my favorite. As for menu selection I wouldn't consider this a brunch spot because they really only had two breakfast options besides ala carte options. The staff was very friendly and our waitress did a great job besides not informing us about the spiciness of the sausage. She also didn't inform us that there was an automatic 20% gratuity added to our bill if we had not looked closer we would have double tipped which I feel is kind of dishonest. We had three adults and a small child our bill including the 20% gratuity came up to $160. I would like to go back to try some of the more Jamaican style food. This place would be better for an evening out with friends. Kid-friendliness: I took my 5yr old to brunch with the family. They didn't have booster seats and the music was sooo LOUD she was ready to go before we had drinks on the table. Not a good place for kids or their grandparents. I was enjoying the music selections but even me and my boyfriend were not enjoying the extreme volume.
Always a vibe on Sundays! The Dj, the food, the mimosa flight! *chef’s kiss*
