My mom took me here for dinner, this was my first experience dinning at Joey. We ordered the gyoza and truffle fries at the bar while we waited for a table. Bar staff were welcoming. The ambiance was not my taste, but that's me. For dinner we ordered the Chilean Seabass, which was delicious, the filet with crab cake which my mom enjoyed very much and a bottle of the Beaujolais. What stood out the most was our server, Saray. She was attentive, but gave us space to catch up. She made our evening more special.
I can come here once or twice a week.. love the atmosphere and service..
First time here, food was amazing. Unfortunately the server was not. She ignored us and purposefully refused to help us with a request. Even to the point of making eye contact and walking away with a smug expression. The manager was apologetic and it mentioned she will coach her more. Well handled.
Upscale Cheesecake Factory vibe....1 and done with this place. Staff was ok, food way overpriced for what you get, (sea bass was actually really good but tiny portion) go somewhere else.
This place is overrated. Food and drinks are overpriced and service is marginal. Nice atmosphere and location.
Food was great, server was awful. Waters were never refilled, empty dishes were on the table for a while. Came with my girlfriend who is visiting from another state, ordered drinks, and server refused to take ID because it wasn’t from CA. Never had this happen before. Was looking forward to eat here but left extremely disappointed.
Gorgeous place. Although the 3 servers that changed places to serve us, were indeed friendly & did their very best. There were Not enough servers for the Large party they had going on ... We came in early to beat the Rush, but due to the extensive wait, we ended leaving well past the 1-2 hours we expected to be in this restaurant. The food was JUST OK. NOT ENOUGH FOR THE HUMUNGEST PRICES... NEEDLESS TO SAY. I WILL NOT BE BACK.
