Hopdoddy Burger Bar

Took ages to get my first beer but the keg had kicked. Other than that the service was great and friendly, the burger was fantastic and the prices were almost suspiciously low for LA. This will be my go-to when staying nearby Dietary restrictions: Burger bowls for keto folk!

Great experience and food next to the water fountain and the artificial grass where families gather to play and interact.

Got the most expensive burger, the wagyu with fondue cheese and onions. Was pretty good but had large chunks of salt making it way too salty. Also for such a good piece of meat, there was way too much sauce that made it taste cheap. Worst part was I somehow got an email from their marketing team, but I never gave them my email. Since then I’m getting emails from other businesses too. I hit unsubscribe, but new businesses are emailing me from same marketing company.

The burgers were ok but their fries were amazing

Sitting at the bar was a great experience. Bartender was friendly and attentive. Food was pretty good. I really enjoyed my El Diablo burger but my partners Primetime burger had a funky taste due to the caramelized onions. The sharable fries were excellent especially the buffalo ones. I would go to this place again. While not everything on the menu is a home run there's still plenty of tasty choices and the beer selection and the atmosphere are terrific.

My friend and I went there for lunch yesterday. We had different entrees but shared a bowl of regular fries. My hamburger tasted a little bit off. She didn't comment about her chicken strip entree. About 45 minutes later we were both having stomach issues. Both of us ended up with food poisoning. I tried calling around 3:30 and left a message my call was never returned. My friend who paid did speak to a manager yesterday evening and the charge was refunded. I will not be going back to Hopdoddy again. Also do not like that you can't pick your table. You used to be able to do that then go to the counter and order. Apparently that has changed, they assign your table after you've ordered. Also this location is much darker and wasn't nearly as clean as the Playa Vista location that I've gone to in the past.
