This continues to be a hidden gem in Laguna Beach.
Solid brunch spot in Dana Point, with incredible lush mountain views, free valet parking and live entertainment in the patio while we were there! Food portions were ginormous; signature cocktails are concocted with high quality liquors and homemade syrups/cordials albeit a bit too sweet.
Beautiful place. We sat down for drinks and when the drinks arrived we cheered for a happy birthday at the table… 5 min later a chocolate mousse showed up with a candle. We didn’t even ask for it. Frank our waiter was a 10/10!!!!!
This is a beautiful restaurant overlooking the golf course, and the service was on point. Unfortunately, the food was very inconsistent and disappointing. We brought our family of eight for Sunday brunch. We ordered two plates of the identical starter of Duck wings. One plate was fresh and expectedly delicious, and the other was dried out and inedible. The "club" sandwich was uninspired, with only 2 slices of bread, like an overstuffed turkey sandwich....not really a club( usually 3 slices). The chorizo eggs benedict was also overcooked. The poached eggs were almost hard-boiled through and through. It appears as if this restaurant is relying too much on its location. I will say the deserts we're all very good. 5 stars for the pastry/desert chef. The cinnamon roll really lived up to its reputation. Again, the service was very good, from the hostess, server, table staff, and the food runners. We only hoped for more from the kitchen. We plan to visit again, maybe for dinner, but we are lowering our expectations.
Harvest was and is a beautiful place. Highly recommend this hidden gem. Very quiet, secluded, and surrounded by lush greens. The food will match the beautiful surroundings. The service doesn't disappoint either. Its a valet only place, after your meal, it's beautiful to walk around the property too.
