Déçue par le croissant au chocolat (qui s'appelle petit pain au chocolat en français et non croissant), il était cher et manquait de beurre.. 12 dollars pour deux patisseries !!! Le service était tres bien et l'ambiance super, on ressent bien l'esprit américain si spécial de Venice Beach ! Nous reviendrons !

I asked to use restroom while waiting for my order. I was told " it’s for customers only". I responded I am a customer, but was still refused entry to the restroom. I used to come here every Sunday after yoga. I will NEVER COME BACK!!!

Gnarwhal Coffee Co. is a quaint and cozy coffee shop with outdoor seating close to the beach! All staff here are friendly and very knowledgeable about their product. I had the chai tea and fresh baked salted caramel cookie (off the hook). On a scale of 1 to 5, I give it a 6! Definitely worth a stop by morning or afternoon. Parking: This location is on the edge of downtown Santa Monica near the beach so parking is at a premium, but it is worth battling parking meters!
