Here we found a cozy, romantic setting with dining worthy of a top luxury restaurant. Do not judge a book by its cover and do not judge the dining experience here by the simple surroundings. This place is a real find.

We have come to the Bistro before and the experience was amazing! This time it was different.. I think right from the start we should have left. We came in at 9:10 and the first thing the Host said, was we close the kicthen at 10:00 so lets get you seated and your order quickly. He just missed the mark. It leaves you with a feeling of being rushed, or like we were keeping everyone later than they were expected to be there. A really OFF statement and not warm welcome. Not that we needed bells and whistles, with glitter bursting from the ceiling. My husband and I are so laid back, and we usually stay for dinner at restaurants for an hour, we are not the couple that lingers.. or the last couple when clearly people are closing. So we stayed.. and our waitress was wonderful, I believe her name was GiGi maybe.. she was beautiful, down to earth and laid back herself! excellent at service and really just a connected kind person. My food was unreal! Scallops, so delicious.. and my husband's lamb dish was good, a little fatty. We were still eating and another waitress came up to ask if she could take our plates... I think it was an off night.. and we really tried to feel relaxed but it was not easy. I do appreciate how amazing our waitress was from beginning to end. She is also a bartender I believe, so we will not hesitate to visit again for maybe just drinks this time, not dinner. My suggestion make your reservation for 6:30 if having dinner.

Try the crabcake eggs Benedict or the croque madame.

(8/31/14) My friend and I had dinner here and found the food to be superb.  I started my meal with the crab bisque which was one of the best I've encountered.  My friend had the asparagus salad which she enjoyed.  Not a fan of asparagus, I nonetheless tried one of her roasted asparagus, and found the taste delightful.  For the main entree we both ordered the seafood risotto which was prepared to perfection...  Plenty of shrimp, crab lumps, scallops, and mussels filled this meal, leaving both of us contented and satiated.  The dessert menu was quite intriguing, but we were full from the main meal and opted only for coffee.   The service was quite attentive, and both of us will come back.  Dinner for two without drinks or dessert came to around $100.
