The Fool's Lantern

My husband and I stopped in for drinks and apps. Our server was nice, accommodating and so friendly! The atmosphere was nice and clean. The Brussel sprouts were good and the Bavarian pretzel with cheese…delish!! The beer and wine bar was something we’ve never seen before and we enjoyed tasting different types. The owner/manager gave my husband a taste test of some new tequilas that he enjoyed. Definitely recommend stopping in if you’re in town, you will be glad you did!!

Fantastic quality of food, amazing taste. Sliders and shrimp salad especially good. Great selection of beers and wine. Friendly staff and amazing service, very helpful with food allergies. Would definitely recommend and would come back again!!

We had a very enjoyable late lunch at the Fool’s Lantern! The service was outstanding, Sarah was awesome! We loved the crab dip, the feta dip, tenderloin sliders, and the Talbot sandwich. The self serve wine and beer bar is easy and so fun. Great spot.

Very nice place, staff very helpful. Got the charcuterie board. It had 2 cheeses, fondue, and blue cheese and was just expecting a tad more to the board. Excellent guacamole and chips. Nice wine selection. I shall return.

This is our 2nd time here. The first time we had brunch. This time we had lunch and drinks. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff. Service was quick . Drinks were good also. The beer and wine self service had a nice variety of selections. The food came out hot and fresh. The servers worked together to get your food out . Just an overall great time . They also have some TV's. Parking: The restaurant has a small parking lot. You can park on the street also.

Great little spot, even for non-drinkers. Good light fare options, including some veg choices. Fig, brie, and apple flatbread was delicious. Great service by everyone, but a special shout-out to Chris for being incredibly personable and suggesting a new card game we are excited to try! Only suggestion I have is for a vegetarian soup option (maybe bacon as the garnish instead of in it?) but not a huge deal.

A M A Z I N G !!!!! The setup is that you get a card to use to sample/pour your choice of a variety of beers & wine. The menu is absolutely fabulous & we’ll balanced. There is something for everyone & if there isn’t they will find something. The Chef Shawn was kind enough to come out to me when there was a dietary restriction. He wanted to make something that would work & it did! He is amazing, creative & went the extra mile. The Owners happened to be there & they were the sweetest people you could meet. This is a business that you should support. Not only because it’s superior but the people who make it up are exceptional. Wonderful staff, bravo

First time checking this place out and what a vibe! I’m a beer lover but the wine wall was a pleasant surprise to be able to taste and get the full experience. The whipped Feta and Crab dip were AMAZING! The decor created conversation which I thought was great and loved the clean bathroom with the beer glass chandelier. The owner was very friendly and shared the journey to how they opened and the history on the name. I did recommend adding that story somewhere as I think it be a great Touch to a great place. Thank you!
