This bar holds a special spot in my heart. Karaoke is fun and they don’t rip you off like many bars in Boston will! I love when they walk around with chicken on a stick.
I visited the Hong Kong while staying in Massachusetts on business in 2002. Boy was I amazed that a Chinese restaurant had a bar and after hours dance floor in the back. I enjoyed my early evenings there a few times round about the jukebox jamming to Carlos Santana drinking awell-made White Russians. The staff are great, the people are down to earth, a real treat any day of the week.
Unsafe for trans people!!!! My friend was just trying to use the bathroom and the bouncer wouldn’t let her in because she “wasn’t a real woman.” We obviously left immediately, and the bouncer outdoors asked why she was sobbing, told her it didn’t sound like anything to cry about, and immediately tried to bum a cigarette off of her (the same bouncer repeatedly called after as us we were trying to leave) Cannot emphasize enough that this is a mediocre bar staffed by bigoted douches and gross men (except the coat check woman she was very very sweet to us)
This place is really shady they tried to tell us we had to pay a 45% tip. Are hill was 97 and we put 120 down excepting to get change. When we tried to bring it to the staffs attention we were ignored, after 30 min we left. DO NOT GO HERE
What can I say it's a Rite of Passage for every freshman college kid and anyone trying to reminisce about the old days. Cheap drinks for downtown Boston and fun atmosphere
This is suppose to be a chicken quesadilla. The food here is a joke
