Sant Ambroeus Coffee Bar at Hanley

I spent $8 on a latte and it was disgusting. Tasted like it came from a Nespresso. The parfait was OK. Do not go here.

ゴシップガールを見て行きました。 ラテだけ注文しましたが美味しかったです。 席が少ないのですぐに埋まりそうですが、カウンター席はあいてました。 店内にお手洗いがあります。 テイクアウトしてセントラルパークを散歩するのも店内でゆっくりするのもいいです。

Très bel endroit pour un bon café et de petits en-cas. C'est un peu cher comparé à d'autres endroits de ce type mais c'est également meilleur.

I have often walked by the Sant Ambroeus Coffee Bar on Third Avenue but always had the distinct impression that it was overpriced and seemed to attract a certain clientele that didn’t mind spending more because it limited the kinds of customers who might prefer a cheaper cup of coffee. I was shocked that a large latte cost over $8 and probably should have headed to the door but wondered, is it possible that their coffee would be worth the price? While trying to decide, I checked out the prices of their salads and sandwiches, that actually looked reasonably priced but regrettably, I just ordered the latte and after a few sips, tossed it in a garbage can! In my opinion, their coffee is indeed overpriced but their salads and sandwiches might be worth buying! I might return to sample their other menu items but I really was disappointed with my overpriced latte !

Very cute French style patisserie. The croissant was yummy w the perfect hint of lemon.
