The restaurant week dinner ($61, tax included) had 3 excellent courses. The polpettine appetizer consisted of 2 meatballs on a tomato-based sauce and a deep-fried basil leaf. The saltimbocca chicken was tender and well-seasoned and complemented by the bitter notes of the broccoli rabe. The passion fruit panna cotta was a fitting cap to the meal. They need to sell the popcorn gelato by the pint…truly addictive. The service could be more attentive (mistakenly charged another table’s bill).
We’ve been here several times while visiting NYC, but never again. Sadly, the server was extremely rude and did not attend to our needs once we ordered dinner. He tried to push appetizers on us that we didn’t want. We had an early flight the next day and decided not to have wine or drinks. The waiter was obviously resentful that we were not buying apps and drinks. Never checked on us until it was time to get the check. Was a huge disappointment because the food is amazing!
Had a crazy pasta craving all week and they delivered. Food was great and the service. Got the tonnarelli, def try the salmon tartare and tiramisu
You can skip this one...There are so many better Italian places in the neighborhood with better service
