Place reeked of bleach when we got there at 6pm. Our reservations were for 6 pm. They open at 6pm. Apparently they also start work and clean the tables and floors at 6pm. The toilet and sink were also full of bleach that was just dumped there. You should not come at opening and consider 7pm when the bleach stench subsides. The service was minimal. No napkins were given for a party of 15. I asked for napkins and the lady gave me 4 napkins. The food was not good. It was loud and I couldn't hear the people next to me talk. This place is perfect for people who like to be loud. Parking: 13-15 tight spots. Kid-friendliness: No.
too loudly. Can not hear from my friends. Too spicy that we both stomachache. Cheap price.
Food was average. Nothing really special. It was affordable though. It's very noisy inside so don't go if you prefer quite place where you can have conversations without shouting.
Food is great, late night availability is even greater. It's nice to have a place to go to late in the evening, especially one with a nice atmosphere as this. I've got no complaints about the food, but the service is on the slower side. Both times I went I averaged about a 30 minute wait between sitting down and my food arriving. If you're not in a rush, then the food is worth the wait.
I understand the string lights and the ambience do remind one of an actual cafe in Korea but the food here is bad and grossly overpriced. The rice cakes are what a college student could cook up and they would because the ingredients are so cheap. It is my least favorite Korean soju bar in Santa Clara. Well this, and the newer Hong Dae Pocha. They don't give banchan. The servers roll around once in a blue moon but this is part of the vibe. The fried chicken is mid. The pork cutlet with cheese tastes salty and synthetic. The kimchi fried rice is almost all rice and kimchi with nothing else. I haven't tasted anything remotely good here and almost all dishes are upwards of $20. Except the $13 French fries.
Ive eaten here a few times now. Highly recommend the pork belly and fried chicken. It’s a fun place to sample Korean favourites with friends. The menu is pretty small, but the food is nonetheless great
Fun hangout place with great food. Their boneless fried chicken is amazing :)
