Nino’s continues to be an excellent experience from the minute you walk in the restaurant until you leave!! My wife and I split the spaghetti bolognese for an appetizer which was amazing. I then had a branzino fish that was just out of this world! The service was also beyond amazing and Nino came over to the table several times which he didn’t have to. Just a great place! If you have never been there, I highly recommend it!

First time coming here, not very crowded when we get there before 4pm for early dinner midweek. The place was spacious, server was friendly. We were introduced to the special dishes for the day. Food was fresh, and we loved what we ordered.

When I said that my group was going to have dinner at Nino's, the response was laughter, "I only know it because it's always empty." The restaurant itself was fine. It really gave an impression of Italian Restaurant for boomers, where no younger people would ever consider stepping into. The bathroom floor was incredibly sticky for some reason, and the urinal would not stop flushing. The host was sassy, in a way that some people may be offended but I thought he was funny. What wasn't funny was the food. So bad, I couldn't laugh. I expected my appetizer to be fine since it's hard to mess up tomato and mozzarella. There were two gigantic slices of tomato and three tiny balls of mozzarella, smaller than a 25 cent gumball. The tomatoes tasted like pesticides and the mozzarella tasted like the way the inside of an old, dirty freezer smells. Next, I had some pasta with a beef sauce. I almost went into the kitchen to see if my mom was there. The pasta somehow didn't intermingle with the sauce in any way, and the beef had zero flavor. The tomato of the sauce was present if you thought about it. I wonder if they sourced their ingredients from Morton Williams or the Gristedes down the street because it's cheaper. I could not get myself to stay for dessert, as I could walk to Gristedes myself. If you bring a date to this restaurant, you deserve the turmoil in your relationship to come. I guess this is why Nino's usually sits empty on any given day.

Tried lunch during the restaurant week. Good food and good service. The table I was sitting at, by the window, was wobbling.
