Below average and way too expensive. Had the brisket (not good - very dry, felt like it was old) and beef spare ribs (extremely delicious - these were the savior of the meal). Service was pretty poor (the vibes inside were weird - lots of staff but rarely present). The killer was the price - $150 for just two main courses and one side dish each. I know it’s Kosher but still seems very steep for the quality. This could be an amazing restaurant with some changes to the way things are run. Hoping for the best and would return if someone recommended it had improved.

The service was terrible. The meat tasty but very greasy except for the brisket, which was excellent. The sides were lousy,portions small for everything and prices sky high. It is obvious Mendel is no longer there. Last time…:((((

We came hungry at 730 and the place was mobbed! The line to be seated was out the door. I went outside and made a reservation on my phone for 745. Mitch was totally on top of the situation. Setting up new tables, seating people and cleaning due to the short staff. My wife and I enjoyed the food immensely. Even though they were understaffed and not expecting such a crowd (don't know why) the food came out quickly and cooked perfectly. Mitch even compt our desert because he felt bad we were in a little of a makeshift table and had to wait. Everyone there was having a great time. Just wondering what the name of the Hebrew song you play for birthdays I can't find it?? TYSM

I’ve been here before didn’t have a great experience But Other places were full…. Plenty of room here And we just arrived hungry I had the half smoked chicken And tortilla soup Partner had pulled beef plate Side was Cole slaw Food was really not good Soup was garbage They didn’t have fried chicken (how the heck can’t you have fried chicken?!) My chicken tasted like 2 day old reottiserie chicken Even the dark meat was dry Forget about the white….. This wasn’t “smoked” it was reheated Cole slaw was garbage too much sugar and liquid Pulled beef was sweet cooked beef Ate half my plate and ran Guess that’s why other places full and this place empty. -really. Will never go back -ever Did I say the food wasn’t good? UPDATE: Tuesday February 27 2024 I spoke to close friends who also ate here This past Sunday Night Same reasoning Arrived and this was only place with lots of room They ordered nachos and other stuff All Got violently ill Were all (3 adults!) in bed next day one went to Dr. I believe they served old foodmone certainly didn’t taste fresh Something is wrong here

An exceptionally average meal in an exceptionally average restaurant with poor staff. Manager was rude and not interested in having happy customers. 6 diners, all food came at different times. Beer was served after food. There are some phenomenal kosher restaurants in Miami. This is not one of them. There's a reason every other restaurant in Bal Harbour is heaving on a Thursday night and this was empty.
