Martha’s Hermosa Beach

Scrumptious lunch just steps away from the beach. Kate, our waitress, was very pleasant and attentive. Always with a smile. The menu has a nice array of choices and the portions are large. I recommend this establishment to anyone. Vegetarian options: I had and thoroughly enjoyed the grain Bowl.

Went for lunch today. The waitress was very sweet. The food was good, no issues, I got what I ordered. Great ocean view sitting outside. My only complaint was the service was slow. Getting food, getting to-go box, getting check.. but I would go back.

This small breakfast / lunch spot isn’t a bad location with the beach walking distance away but it is usually pretty busy and so you should be prepared for the wait. The food gives you huge portions for the price but it’s nothing to write home about if I’m honest and the servers are not friendly most of the time. I don’t know if it’s because they’re always busy and therefore, might be stressed but every time I’ve eaten there we’ve experienced some level of attitude or long wait for something that a server didn’t get out in time with everyone else. The seating is limited but it’s a smaller place and so that’s why I rated the way I did. If you want a quick place to eat on the beach and you catch a table before the crowds come, I’d say it’s worth the try (hopefully you will get a different experience than me and my family).

Great breakfast option in the South Bay. The external area has a view to beach, and the food and service were excellent. The prices were good considering the whole experience. Go early to not stay in the queues.
