I just got an almond croissant. I was convinced they’d given me a plain croissant. With every bite, I hoped I would encounter some almond paste. Such as when you buy a ham sandwich, you expect there to be ham on it. I went back to let them know about the quality control of this almond croissant that had some powdered sugar and almond on top , but no paste inside. the cashier refused to refund me or give me another one on the off chance that I got a bum almond croissant. The quality of the product and the customer service was unfortunately disappointing. I will not be returning. In the grand scheme of things it’s really not that big a deal, and if you have the impulse to have an almond croissant, I would not buy one from Market Hall.
Great location with very friendly staff. My go to for pairing something with my morning coffee. My new fave is the prosciutto gruyere toasted of course to bring out all the flavorful goodness.
There is no pride in their product by their staff: I was sold items way past their prime at their premium price. If an item has passed its enjoyable time, it should be pulled, not sold.
I had the passionfruit and lemon cheesecake and it was absolutely DIVINE! The flavor had a perfect balance of sweet and tart. You could actually taste the passionfruit and the lemon was subtle enough to not be overpowering. The texture was rich and creamy. It was $4.95 for a slice but the slice was very dense and filling so I found the pricing reasonable. I can’t wait to try other treats!
I love their Brazilian Cheese bread and their chicken and beef turnovers!
I love market hall, but the price gouging is getting a bit out of hand.
