Filippi's Pizza Grotto Poway

I have hosted two gatherings there. Both over 20 people. Both times absolutely incredible service and friendly staff. I will definitely continue to suport Filippi's Poway!!

the service and food are great takes a bit for the food to come out but over all great, the only thing is that there should be a bit more room for accessibility for wheelchairs and bigger bodied people, in the space between each table.

Pizza with lots of cheese and a crust that could handle it. Lasagna was just as fantastic!

There is no better pizza than the pizza at the Poway location. We drive 30 minutes every time we want delicious pizza and the antipasto salad is killer too. The other locations have a different sauce. I am editing this original review as this establishment must have been sold because their pizza was atrocious with very little acidic sauce. Not going there anymore.

I can only comment regarding the pizza because that is the only item I have eaten from Filippi's. If you try it by itself, without the TON of cheap cheese, the cheap toppings, and the soggy crust, you will find the sauce is really good, however, nothing else on the pizza is. They put a TON of cheap mozzarella on top of cheap toppings. The Hawaiian style (Canadian bacon & pineapple) has small thinly sliced pieces that appear to be cheap canned ham, the pineapple was also small canned pieces. But it really wouldn't matter because even if they used quality ingredients you couldn't taste them due to a TON of cheap mozzarella. That pile of cheese also makes the crust super soggy. Sorry for being blunt but . . .
