Food is delicious very healthy comes quickly that is a ice 2%milk latte and chicken ceaser wrap chocolate chip pancakes.

I literally went in just for dessert yesterday..I ordered the coconut rum cake & chocolate mousse cake..costing me $13.00 for both...the coconut rum cake was average...the chocolate mousse cake was dry and disgusting! Everything about is was just wrong! Not sure if it had been sitting there for awhile..it was Not fresh.. I hope not since the customers before me were visiting from SC...I hope hers tasted better than mine since here I was in the line bragging about the desserts from my previous visit! SMH!

One of our favorite cafe in our neighborhood. They extended three months ago. No more Nick Rail music store. I had Nutmeg Scramble and Coconut Rum Cake. Yum.

2024: Updated review- unfortunately I had to lower my rating to three stars. I've enjoyed visiting Nutmeg in Sabre Springs and a few visits to their Scripps Ranch location, but I've noticed progressively the deliciousness of the food has decreased. I'm so sorry to say all this, but it's true! Maybe the ownership has changed a couple times over the years?? I went earlier today and I'm sad to say it was very under par. Maybe the ingredients are not as fresh, they're cutting back on the meat or seasonings but I really didn't enjoy what I ordered today. It just wasn't good to me. Tried: amazing burrito, nutmeg scramble, carnitas breakfast sandwich, latte, mimosa. Also, they no longer have their homemade biscuits and jam. That was THE BEST thing I've eaten there. Sorry to say I won't be back again. It's taken me a few years of disappointment to finally give up. Best of luck, I hope Nutmeg gets it's ingredients/ freshness/ chefs in order to rise to their previous glory.
