Hob Coffee Sabre Springs

Horrible delivery service. They don’t contact you via text or call (as indicated on their online page) so you won’t know they are out of an item if you check you email, which was not written anywhere on their ordering page and one hour later we are here trying to figure out what to do about breakfast. Will never order from them again. Just too much trouble and paying extra for additional delivery fee and tip for reordering from somewhere else. Other cafes has called or texted for substitutes, but I guess that’s too much for Hob Coffee to do.

The lady wasn't nice, but I don't really care about that when getting coffee. This review is because the coffee isn't good. I'm not trying to sound like a jerk, but I could get something better made from a Starbucks k cup and coffeemate. I feel like I wasted my money, and I'm not sure why this place has good reviews other than maybe convenience / neighborhood bias from locals.

I’m glad I found this place, it was so cozy and nice. I met my friend for coffee and checked out this coffee shop. I got their recommended coffee which is their signature - Kingslayer. It is delicious, very cinnamony with a slight of agave sweet touch. My friend ordered a vanilla lavender, she likes it as well. It was a nice place, I’ll definitely come back to try other flavors.

Coffee was great. Well made and crafty. Their signature drinks are great.

My daughter and I came in at 2:35 pm on Tuesday november 28th. All the tables and chairs were stacked in the place and it was dark. After asking 3 times and a vague answer, we found out that the business was still open, probably the girl was no longer interested in customers. I asked for a cortado, unfortunately that was not a cortado that I got. I took the lid off the cup, it looked like machine coffee, it looked like a bad cappuccino, too full cup and it was piping hot, I burned my mouth! aA cortado is an espresso with an equal amount of milk with a pinky thick cream layer. I wonder why this is on the menu if the staff don't know how to make it. Are the staff members not trained? And if you close at 3 o'clock, why does it look like the place is closed. We wanted to sit down for a bit but were forced to take coffee with us. My daughter experienced this whole atmosphere and didn't want anything to drink anymore. I think if you close at 3 pm then you only clean up after that time, but don't give the customer the feeling of not being welcome.

Excellent service! Friendly staff slightly overpriced. Coffee quality is superb!

I would love to leave a good review, because the coffee and food is excellent. However I've never had worse customer service. I placed an order online, and when I walked in to pick it ip the girl behind the counter was incredibly rude. Completely ignored me as I was waiting to pick up the order, had head phones in and was on her phone. When I mentioned she was making out drink with the wrong milk she rolled her eyes. When she finished the order she placed it on the counter without saying a single word and walked away. I really want to love this place but I will never return after my experience. Wish I could take back my tip!

The americano was really good! They have vegan pumpkin muffin and loaf - yay! The only downfall is I think those are just seasonal. Would like to see more vegan options. Also, the music is very much hip/hip so bring your own headphones if you want to work or focus.
