Excellent pizza. We ate every bite. Delicious!!! Parking: Great location for us. It’s our “go to” place for pizza.

My husband decided to surprise me with pizza for lunch and upon opening the box we see that the pizza literally has missing slices. We call immediately to inform the store since my husband just left. We’re told that there is nothing they can do. We weren’t looking for a refund, as we enjoy eating here. I was simply hoping we could get a remake for peace of mind but nope. We were told that sometimes the pieces get stuck to the top of the box. Uhmmm ok. That definitely wasn’t the case for our vegan pizza. Shame on management for poor problem solving and customer service.

100% recommend!! I had no idea this Donato's Pizza was here and stopped by when I passed it today - and I'm SO glad I did!! The first thing that stood out to me was the outstanding customer service. Not only were the employees super friendly, but the owner came out and introduced himself to welcome me to the area! Aaron was so personable and clearly genuinely cares for all the customers that come in this establishment. The interior was also greatly decorated and super welcoming. Tables were clean and it was a great atmosphere all-around. Food was DELICIOUS! Definitely a go-to from now on. I'm so happy to support this restaurant and hope you will too!!

5 stars to the most enthusiastic pizza place in Madison. Had a pretty big order to feed my coworkers and myself, and wasn't able to provide much notice. They were very busy, as they were one of the few eateries open in the midst of all the ice and snow we've been experiencing, but the food came out much quicker than expected. The young professional working the counter when I came in offered me a complimentary drink while I waited on my order to be completed, and the owner/manager(?) offered one to another guest waiting as well. 5 stars for service, but only because there isn't a sixth star. I have the food 4 stars simply because the sauce was a little lacking in flavor and quantity, and faces the all-too-common dilemma of it saturating the crust, creating a bit of a tomato flavored bread paste. Otherwise, the pizza was phenomenal. Atmosphere received 4 stars because... Well it's just a walk-in pizza joint. Not much improvement to be made there. Overall, my team and I got to enjoy a delicious lunch compliments of Donatos and I will recommend their food to anyone.

I went to Donatos in Madison today, it was fantastic. Great food and a good crew working there. They're doing a little remodeling (January 2024) but it doesn't take away from the experience. Great stuff!

Tried to take advantage of the entree salad deal with a large pizza offered online but the system would not add the deal to my order. So I called and ordered-large pizza (thicker crust) with an Italian entree salad. After taking some time to find the deal, the very nice employee added the deal to the order. Sent my husband to pick up the order. Instead received a thin crust pizza and no salad. Didn’t realize it was thin crust until at home and box was opened. Fine. Still wanted my salad though. Husband had to go all the way back for the salad. I understand inflation-everything is more expensive these days but the least you could do as a business is get my order correct. That’s not an unreasonable expectation.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of ordering from Donatos Pizza in Madison, Alabama, and I must say it was by far the worst pizza I've ever had. Not only did they completely disregard my dietary restrictions, but their overall service and quality left much to be desired. I specifically ordered a chicken pizza, clearly informing them about my inability to consume pork. However, to my dismay, they delivered a pepperoni pizza instead. It was evident that they either failed to pay attention to the order or simply didn't care about accommodating their customers' needs. This lack of attention to detail and disregard for dietary preferences is completely unacceptable. Aside from the mix-up with my order, the pizza itself was a complete disappointment. The crust was dry and tasteless, lacking any semblance of freshness. The toppings were sparse and poorly distributed, leaving large patches of just plain dough. The chicken, when I finally found a few sad pieces, was overcooked and rubbery. It was as if they had taken the cheapest, lowest-quality ingredients and thrown them together haphazardly. The overall service experience was equally abysmal. The delivery took an exorbitantly long time, with no communication or explanation for the delay. When I called to inquire about my order, the staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful. It felt as though my concerns were brushed off without any genuine attempt to rectify the situation. Based on this disastrous experience, I strongly advise against dining at Donatos Pizza in Madison, Alabama. The combination of their careless approach to orders, subpar pizza quality, and lackluster customer service make it a place that should be avoided at all costs. Save yourself the disappointment and find a pizza establishment that values its customers and strives for excellence in both taste and service.
