Awesome chunky guacamole and salsa!
A fantastic new addition to Hunstville! The food is always excellent and the staff is so friendly!
A little pricey for fast food but definitely tasty. Portions are generous. Staff has great attitude. Quick service line.
I try to get here each time I'm at Redstone Arsenal.
They close early so cant take a late lunch here.
$5 burritos on Mondays, and $1 tacos from 1:30-2:30 p.m. EVERYDAY. Great spot.
Awesome food and service!
Awesome street tacos and the burritos were fantastic. Service was good and the staff friendly.
Best Mexican food near arsenal. Quick and spicy food.
After reading the reviews, I was skeptical, but wanted to give Fiero a try. I'm really glad I did! A co-worker and I arrived at about 11:15 on a Wednesday. The place was about 1/3 full of customers at this time and all tables were filled by the time we left at noon. I tried (and loved) the spicy pork chorizo taco on flour tortilla and a steak taco, also on flour tortilla. They top your item as you go through the line with your choice of meat and you can choose from about a dozen toppings, but given the size of a taco shell, if you get too much, it won't fit the shell. On both of mine, I had Pica de Gallo, cilantro/onion mix and sour cream. Total price under $8. My co-worker tried a steak taco and a honey lime chicken taco, which he said were both very good. He also got chips and salsa for us to share. We thought their "hot" salsa was pretty good, but not as hot as you may elsewhere. The downfall was the chips...instead of using corn tortilla chips, they used flour, which just doesn't seem right with salsa and, as another reviewer pointed out, had a fair amount of oil on them. Unless they change their chips, I'll not bother with ordering any on my next visit. In addition to the courteous counter staff, they have a dining room attendant that is continuously circling through to clean a table, offer to take your trash if you appear to be done eating and I noticed if you ordered a rice bowl and were unable to finish it, he'd get you a lid so you could take the rest to-go. The rice bowl looked great and the portions were very generous as they were on the tacos. I'll try a rice bowl or burrito next with their awesome spicy pork chorizo!
Arrived just after 10:30 am to beat any lunch crowd. There was no line yet, and we reached the counter immediately. The staff were very courteous and enthusiastic when speaking to us. I ordered a rice bowl with chorizo. The assortment of available toppings was very broad, and every topping I picked was tasty and fresh. Since guacamole was extra, I elected not to get any, but I may next time to compare to Chipotle.Overall, the portion size was easily as large as Chipotle's, if not larger (once I had added all of the toppings I wanted, which is exactly what I do at Chipotle). There seemed to be more primary options at Fiero, as there was fish, steak, chorizo, chicken, and grilled vegetables. For the two meals I paid for (no drinks), the total came out to just over $17. As anyone on the Arsenal knows, it is tough to eat for less than $8 at the food trucks, so this is a competitive non-fast-food option, and the bowl was competitive on price with Chipotle. Being several miles closer to my office than Chipotle tips the balance in Fiero's favor in my book.
