The Oyster Pot Pie is fantastic, great spot to warm up in the winter.

What a great location. Unfortunately the place was closed when we went there. Guessing they arr closed in the winter. I am going to try and catch them next time we are in the area

We visited Knapps Narrows by boat for the weekend of 9/9 and dined at Characters. The food was delicious- I had Rockfish Tacos and they were excellent. The restaurant was heavily populated by locals, who were so very warm and welcoming to us city folk and the staff made our dining and dancing experience among our best memories of the season. The band was "Hold My Beer," a great party band for dancing. We look forward to returning regularly- this place is awesome. Kid-friendliness: Kids seem to love it too!

Excellent crab dip and maryland crab soup. The orange crushes were perfect.

The place was quite dirty (crusty juicers, dirty blenders with flies...) and it was pretty slow but I swear it was the best half and half soup I have ever had. The crab dip was just so-so, didnt taste like much and was very thick

While there is a limited selection of options my softshell crab sandwich was the best I have had. The other people in my party food was more average. Good location too
