Butcher Bar BBQ

Ordered delivery. Got burnt ends, brisket sandwich, pork sandwich, and chicken strips. Boy am I surprised! This brings me back to the days of when I was a young boy in the south enjoying BBQ on a porch. My favorites were the pork sandwich and burnt ends. The burnt ends were especially wonderful and reminded me of the best burnt ends I've ever had. I feel like the flavors are on the lighter side compared to more modern BBQ establishments. Some foodies may criticize this but to me this is what properly cooked BBQ in the South should taste like. Mind you there are many categories of BBQ and this is a quite specific one that is done really well. This place is definitely going on my list of nostalgia inducing favorites. Edit: ordered the Mac and cheese and had to come back to update ya'll on how good it is. Mac and cheese purists be warned there is a very thin layer of chili, then crusted cheese and real bacon bits. They also bake it in the tray that gets delivered and may be one of the best delivery items I have ever ordered. Would recommend.

me my husband and my sister went in there we ordered two fall off the bone sauced ribs with sides and a butcher platter the butch platter was okay other then the side mashed potatoes tasting like dirty water and bourbon the rib platters with the baked beans were disgusting uneatable the ribs were burnt not fall off the bone and their bbq sauced tasted like sugar and soap the baked beans tasted disgusting i think all the food was contaminated so we gave back our plates and then the manager started hollering in my face because i ordered too much food and i have to pay for it because even though they took it back it’s a waste of food and money for them and he was yelling he’s the best and didn’t help us at all so we spent $106 and had no food we walked out with empty stomachs manager was yelling at two young girls because he’s the best and people aren’t aloud to order food at his restaurant and not like it

The manager here is insane. I will be filing charges for assault. Their food is GARBAGE & DISGUSTING. Do not enter this restaurant unless you want to be slapped while getting the receipt for gross food that is not edible.

Very terrible establishment, called upon arrival to inform I would be bringing a service dog and hostess said it was okay if the service dog had papers. Upon arrival, the owner refused to sit us and was very rude and homophobic. He told us we had to leave even after proving our dog was a service dog and not an emotional support animal.

My fiancée and I had this as delivery tonight (65$) and all of it was not good. The gravy for the mashed potatoes was so thin and didn’t have good flavor. The ribs were super dry. The cornbread was weak, and the fries were soggy even though we live a 5 min walk away. We don’t plan to eat or order from here again, especially with what they’re charging for this food.

We ordered after hearing great things about this restaurant. We had the meat platter. Which includes 3 choices for meat and 3 choices for sides. It was bad. The brisket was very fatty and it was sent very cold and was seemed like scraps, especially the bbq chicken. Ordering the street corn was the worst. The corn on the cob was boiled and all the water was thrown in to not keep the spices nor the coating of sour cream meant for it. Sloppy. They also said we would get a discount ordering through the restaurant instead of uber eats but when the promo didn't work the answer was: " I guess that was removed due to the holidays."..to make more money. Wouldnt a restaurant want to be nicer for the holidays? Thumbs down.
