I had chai and mandazi while I waited for my samosa and goat pepper soup to-go. The mandazis were fantastic! Soft and fluffy. It felt just like home!
Food is amazing! Drinks are delicious! Feels like you have come to visit your auntie and she decided to feed you (in the best way)! It's a nice place but not super fancy - very low key. Great for a chill evening with amazing food and energy.
The food is great, well seasoned, and large portions! The jollof rice and samosas are some of my favorites!
The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious! Such flavor! I can’t wait to return to try another item on the menu.
I never expected this place to be so nice when I walked in! It was a lot bigger than I expected. The lady behind the bar was so warm and welcoming and I honestly just came in to see what they had out of curiosity and ended up spending like $70 just because of her (did not plan on spending that at all). She was so enthusiastic and felt like talking to a good friend so I couldn’t walk out LOL! However, I’m glad I didn’t because the food was just as amazing. She called me by name several times while I waited as she made polite conversation and offered me a ginger shot. I definitely recommend this spot if you are in the mood for some good African soul food!
We used this place for catering for the academy, the food was excellent and they gave a good deal for catering, I will be going here for my YouTube channel for a dine in experience and film for African cuisine which I have not covered yet, good to see a place like this, when most African places are overpriced and flavorless or not professional. I recommend this place. And you can see my YouTube channel here and subscribe https://youtu.be/V07oVqi2daQ?si=ZJmvim-ZRVUDXg5h
First time here and it was soooo good . Tracy made one of the best lemon drop martinis I’ve had. Such a pleasure and I will be back
