I would like to say that I liked it, but it no longer measures up. My meal was over cooked. With tip, we spent $120 for two of us, including 1 glass of wine each and a split dessert, inc. Tip.
I remember growing up as a kid eating at the original location off of like 44th and Federal in Denver. I haven't been here to this location but I loved it back in then so I need to go and try this one out.
Came in for the first time on Christmas, and we were SO glad we did! Every staff member was friendly and helpful. The pomodoro rigatoni with sausage was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had, and the chicken parm was also delish. Big portions, and big flavor! A gem of a restaurant in this area!
December 31st. I’m not sure of the waitress name, she was older with dark hair, but she was probably the rudest server I’ve ever experienced. I’ll never go back.
Nice local restaurant, good food, great bar manager (Kelly!). We're really glad they survived COVID and business seems to be picking up. Try the Butternut Squash ravioli and Stroganoff - they're great. If you pay cash you get a discount (we never remember tho).
The food was so bland. It tasted like jar sauce and the pasta was undercooked (beyond al dente)
This was our first time here and the food was horrible. Something out of the show called kitchen nightmares. The calamari was disgusting, our pastas were mediocre, and the one drink we got was terrible. We spent over 100 dollars and since it was our first time had no idea of the 3 percent surcharge when using a card rather than cash. Totally disappointing. Our server was really nice so that’s good. Edit in response to owners comments: yes there was absolutely a sign in the front. Definitely not on the table. As a first time visitor there is no way to know about the 3percent fee unless you walk in. Nothing on the website or social media. Again we really liked the server. But the food needed some help. Thanks again.
I had high expectations and was disappointed. We visited yesterday New Year’s Eve and I ordered the special lobster ravioli and it was cool not at all warm. We had to order and pay for bread and side salad/soup. My experience at other comparable Italian restaurants offer bread and salad/soup are part of the meal and the 3% service charge for credit/debit is totally unacceptable. This restaurant was a 4.5 star when it was located in North Denver and has really gone downhill in the last few years.
