Love the back garden room but wouldn't recommend the table closest to the kitchen for a first date ‍

Wahoo! Grill provided an excellent process from start to finish for a baby shower I hosted recently. The atmosphere was upscale, beautiful and peaceful. The food was tasty with nice menu options and the service was top notch, with staff going above and beyond their duty to ensure all guests enjoyed an elegant affair. Finally, Sydni Parker was the perfect event organizer! She communicated clearly and efficiently and helped to carry out the vision. On site, Amanda and Liz carried the torch perfectly! Great place to host any special event.

10/10 experience, my wife smiled the whole time celebrating her birthday. The staff were very friendly, the chef and his team did a fantastic job on our meals. We shared the crab bisque to dip the Focaccia in and both got the NY strip, Flavor profile was incredible. We had a variety of drinks and all were unique and delicious. Dessert was fantastic and the espresso martini was a perfect way to cap off the evening. The management at this location is stellar and you can tell every detail is accounted for, we will be back soon!

I came to this restaurant to have dinner with my husband and we had really bad customer service from our waiter CJ and he was also rude so I decided not to tip him. Since I decided not to tip him he got upset and said he only get paid by tips and to not ever come back and that I’m not welcomed to come back.

I've eaten here plenty of times before, but this review is for Wahoo! Grill as a wedding venue. As a Decatur wedding photographer, I've photographed multiple weddings at Wahoo! Grill - you wouldn't know from the modest facade that it held a mini oasis out back, a space that can be transformed for intimate ceremonies and 100+ guest receptions alike. Restaurants come and go, it's an incredibly hard business to get right (pandemics also don't help...) but as evidenced by being a long-time Decatur staple, obviously the food is great. One fewer thing to have to worry about when planning your reception! If you're looking for a venue that's in a super convenient Decatur location, with tasty food, a beautiful ceremony/reception space, friendly capable staff and (last but not least) ample free parking, then look no further. Nice restaurant, the dishes are nice, but for me, it seemed a little overpriced

We had our holiday office party here in December, and it was absolutely magical. The staff was so kind and helpful, the event was comfortable, and the food and drinks were delicious. I look forward to coming here again!

The service was splendid!!! Atmosphere was amazing. Some dishes did not match…. Fried green tomatoes with crab meat and pimento cheese. The seafood smelled very fishy but tasted okay. Fried chicken dish probably was my favorite. Mussels were delicious. Halibut was good but fishy… Bread pudding no go! Chocolate cake delicious!!!
