Fabulous every. single. time.
We liked the shared plate style. Every dish we had was excellent. Caesar salad paired with marinated anchovies was great. Grilled cabbage with Jerusalem artichokes and sweet potatoes was excellent. Finished with Pasta. Then tiramisu - also outstanding. Wait staff and cooks very willing to explain dishes. We will definitely be back.
Absolutely incredible dining experience with friends! There were 3 of us and we basically ordered the entire menu (we couldn't wait to dive into some dishes so we missed some photos). Highly recommend this spot - it's very cozy and everyone clearly values creating delicious, comforting, healthy food. 10/10 and certainly will be back. ONE IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not leave Gigi's without getting the Tiramisu. I am NOT a tiramisu person and I have been dreaming about this since I left. Do yourself a favor and get one each ;)
I was looking forward to dining here after reading so many positive reviews. I'm not a fan. Menu is super limited, only one pasta dish and it cost $30 bucks. Service was ok, he seemed to be waiting too many tables. Fun retro environment. Also, ordered an Aperol spritz, they don't have Aperol. Ordered a Vodka soda, they don't have Vodka. Give me a break.
Wonderful tiny neighborhood Italian kitchen. I used to think the tiny space and limited seating was an issue, but it's what makes the place perfect. Make sure to try the polenta
I am a long time customer to the Atlanta restaurant scene… I have enjoyed many meals and excellent service, but none any better than Gigi’s… We ordered all the small plates and the two large plates offered… As well as the Tiramisu… I have never enjoyed an experience any better than this, and this may be the best… The food was spectacular and the service was friendly and quick… Our group is definitely coming back… If I could give more than five stars, I would… Well done, Gigi’s, well done! Parking: Easily parked behind the restaurant!
What a delightful space and an even lovelier team. It’s the kind of place that elevates the occasion. It feels like a hole-in-the-wall Italian restaurant yet it’s anything but that. This is, in my opinion, the epitome of hospitality and cuisine in Atlanta.
How are you going to have a restaurant that doesn't take reservations, and at the same time shuts down the entire restaurant for a private party? I don't give a damn how "good" people say the food is...doesn't matter if you can't EAT IT. Not impressed...at all.
