I used to love this place back when it was on University Blvd. 2 years ago the laminated brioche was $3.50 What could possibly increase so much that now it costs $5.45? And BTW, the last one I had was stale and hard. They've fallen asleep on their laurels
Always consistent always great!
Waited in line for 10 minutes while the man behind the counter had a conversation in French with the lady in front of me. Nbd, I didn’t mind waiting. I then asked for two pastries. Unfortunately, they don’t accept cash and I do not have a card. I begged and pleaded for a one time hospitality pass and they adamantly said no. I even offered to overpay in cash. I used to enjoy coming here. I’ve given my business to this place over the years and I’ve come to see it as part of my neighborhood. But it’s not part of the neighborhood. Despite the countless times I’ve come and given great tips, they sent me away. Unfortunately, I lost my card this weekend. I drove down here for a pastry. The least they could have done was toss me a pity cookie. Never giving this place my business again.
Trust the bad reviews. This place is not good… everything we tried was dry and tasteless. The coffee was just ok. There are many better spots around the Dallas area. The blueberry scone was like a very dry, non flavorful muffin with very sour blueberries. We exchanged the eclair (that tasted like it had been sitting on the shelf for a few days) for a canelé which was also not very good. The outside was burnt and the inside was not the correct consistency that a canelé should have. $14 down the drain. 2 stars because the customer service was great.
Iced matcha latte and a chocolate croissant all day, everyday. Try the queen breads!
Always a treat! The spinach and feta crescents are delicious and the chocolate crescent slice is amazing
This was one of the worst places I have ever been to while visiting Dallas. I got a chocolate cake (which had no flavor and was not sweet). Spinach and feta croissant (barely had anything in it and was stale and soggy). Almond Croissant (stale and had too much almond extract so it tasted medicinal). I called to see if these were day old products and was told They do not make anything in house but it gets trucked in daily from their local warehouse where its made. The only reason for 1 star is because the staff is friendly and helpful. I wish I could get a refund as nothing was really edible.
