Review for the Bella: This pizza combines figs with balsamic vinegar and a variety of fresh cheeses. The sweet and savory worked well with the cheeses, and was especially enjoyable on their brick oven baked fresh dough. I would have liked to see smaller fig pieces coupled with a fig sauce instead of the large pieces of fig. It would have enhanced the overall flavor and presentation. Vero is well worth visiting
Taste was okay for a half cold slice of pizza
Two pizzas was more than enough for two people! We got the Pesto and the Bella, with the Pesto being our favorite!
Really quite delicious. A great market option.
Great service. Bella was delicious.
Every time I go to the Denver Central Market, I like to try something new, and this time, it was Vero. I ordered the ricotta gnocchi. The gnocchi was tender and flavorful and there were big chunks of creamy fresh mozzarella tossed in a lovely tart and smooth tomato cream. It was topped with a generous handful of fresh basil. It was a touch pricey for the portion but it was delicious!
Pretty disappointed. I paid 20 bucks to get the prosciutto and oyster mushroom, only to find out the toppings were actually ham and portobello slices. Now, the pizza didn't suck.. but it was loaded with ingredients not listed on the menu, and was very soggy. There were 3 pizza rolls for 11. Didn't see the price when I ordered them, thinking as an app they would be reasonably priced like 5-7 dollars. When I got to taking a bite, they were burnt, hollow dough tubes. I had the Margherita rolls, there was one leaf of basil in each and I couldn't really taste any sauce. For the price I paid I am incredibly disappointed, especially with the incorrect and misleading menu. Unless you want a soggy overpriced not what you ordered pizza, come check this place out. Use your money elsewhere.
This is a great place for pizza. It's absolutely delicious and the place is so clean! Also there are a variety of other restaurants there to try! Definitely a must try if you visit Denver!
