A real hidden gem in the 12 south! The vibe and atmosphere was very “urban” and felt relaxed with a fun twist. Dog friendly and a refreshing outdoor eating area, this place has the absolute best pork chops! The service is friendly and attentive. The recommended shrimp and grits was quite the surprise as it was one of the best meals I had in Nashville.
2.75 Stars would be my exact rating Preface: I was a brunch regular (2x/month) here before the pandemic. This was only my 4-5 visit in the past 2yrs. Today was an off day. I brought 2 first timers in for brunch, and our server didn't seem to be very knowledgeable about the menu. The lack of explanation of certain dishes discouraged them from being adventurous when ordering. Drinks: Water, iced tea, Trap Queen cocktail (not worth reordering) We ordered crab beignets (crab cake balls, NOT BEIGNETS!) for an appetizer. Entrees: Chicken & waffles (fried chicken thigh on top of half of a waffle) seriously, not a whole waffle. Strawberry French toast (faily good) Brunch bar (no longer serving crab legs, and the shrimp and grits are cooked separately now. Lower quality shrimp. Grits are not as smooth and creamy as they once were). The bar attendant was very helpful and accommodating. Overall, there is a noticeable decline in quality and value for a $140 plus tip brunch.
A great experience. Food is amazing, and our server “Ally” was extremely on point. Professional, friendly but not over attentive. I could do without dining with other peoples pets though.

A pretty good but not great dinner, the bread basket with popovers, biscuits, butter and strawberry jam was a highlight. We were first seated in a glass walled extension off the real dining room and it was freezing in there. After the heat being turned up for us I was still uncomfortably cold and wearing my coat, and rejected moving to a different table in the same room, instead eventually we were seated at a nice table in a real dining room near a fireplace with a fire burning. It marred the experience going through that - I felt we shouldn't have been seated in a cold, nearly empty room in the first place. The wine selection was excellent, the food was hit or miss. The zucchini was barely cooked, certainly not "roasted" and was a dull dish besides being almost raw, I had unmemorable grilled grouper and my bf had a "club carbonara" that he enjoyed. We weren't hungry for dessert so didn't sample any.

4.5 stars. We ate brunch here after my son's graduation. We arrived very early and they were quite gracious about that, we sat outside and were able to have a drink while we waited for our table. Thru have an a la carte charcuterie board, where you pick what's on yours that we really enjoyed for an appetizer. I had the Oscar Bennie and, this is where they lost the half star, the crab was just a lump on the side vs actually on the dish. Others, and was very delicious. They brought out a dessert for my son, which was very thoughtful.
A Nashville staple! One of my favorite places to eat!
A great spot for a lovely meal. We ate on the patio to enjoy the beautiful evening. Even though it is a busy area we found on street parking easily and enjoyed a short walk in the neighborhood. Even though we had a car it would be a short Uber from downtown and well worth it to enjoy Urban Grub.
