Coffee drinks are fantastic..staff is friendly..atmosphere is chill..good neighborhood vibe

Came on a trip with my wife and ordered two coffee drinks and bagels. Coffees were meh, lukewarm and not strong, tasted water down. Our bagels almost never came, I was just about done with my coffee before the bagels came, how was I going to wash it down? Other people got there food that ordered after we did; it seemed suspicious why but I'll leave it at that. I will not be going back there when there are plenty of other spots. For two coffees and bagels it was around $20! Starbucks get's a bad wrap but at least they stand behind what they serve. You don't like it, they'll give you something else.

So I’m currently writing this review as I’ve been waiting 24 minutes for 2 bagels. Coffees came out fairly fast but I’m almost completely done with my coffee and haven’t received the food. Over 20 minutes for 2 toasted bagels is excessive. I planned to sit down with coffee with the hubby for 30 minutes and then move on to the rest of my day. At this rate we only have 6 minutes left and still don’t have the food. Really wanted to like this place, but if you don’t have an hour to sit down don’t bother. I went up to the counter at 20 minutes to ask about my order and all that was said was oh sorry we have a lot of orders. People that their orders before me!. I won’t go down the road of what I think caused the ‘delay’.I don’t get it ‍♀️. I’ll give the benefit of the doubt and just say Maybe you need more staff. Also if I like dark roast, This isn’t the place for you. I found their roast to be more medium roast even for the cappuccino. Won’t return despite the friendly staff

Have been coming to this place for 20 years. Long term staff are super friendly. Ownership changed last year and the new owners need better customer service skills! I know they ( like all service industry outlets) are having a hard time filling positions but sad to see some staff with no customer service skills. Came in one afternoon at the Park Street location and waited 4 minutes at counter before the two staff people saw me . They were too busy chatting about “that band”. The cakes and pastries are delicious at both locations ! Park street AM staff are tops !

This coffee shop is an established spot in the community.. you can feel the love, see the love, and know you are loved just as you are. There are games, cards, social groups, meeting spots, the most incredible butter biscuits, holy cow wonderful .. The staff here are welcoming... Seriously there is just love all around this place
