The tiny bald guy is so sassy and rude. Literally EVERY time I visit this location he has an attitude for no apparent reason just get another job if you are so miserable there. Most of the negative reviews are about him; please fire him!!!! Until he is gone, I won’t be back

I like the Avocalado and the Island Green Smoothies when I go here. They're very good!

The staff is very rude, showing discrimination towards people. Spoke with the manager and he was very rude questioning me about things like I was the one in the wrong. The smoothies are like liquid at least mine are every time I go to get one. It’s sad because I use to go all the time and new the original owners and the people were so nice and polite now it’s the total opposite! Every time I go inside the employees just stand there and look at me like I’m invisible! The last time I went in I ordered a smoothie and three gentleman game in after me and ordered food and smoothies and the rude employees that obviously have something Against me gave all three customers there food/smoothies before me while my smoothie sat on the counter. I would never Recommend going here unless you want to be treated with nothing but rudeness and liquid smoothies! Very disappointing, Smoothie King in the galleria is 100% better and the employees and manager are very polite and don’t discriminate towards anyone!!!

I placed an online order, walked in right at the estimated time that it would be done. I proceed to grab my smoothie from the pick up area and the smoothie is so liquidy like a drink, not a smoothie. I then walk up to the counter and tell them, “I hate to ask but this is very liquidy like a drink and I kinda like it more thick like a smoothie”. There is 3 employees and then a manager all standing around and they all start looking at me like they have seen a ghost. The one girl asks me, “well how long was it sitting there” and I let her know “I just placed the order a couple min ago”, I keep standing there waiting for the manager to possibly ask me what was wrong with it and maybe take it back to remake. They all keep staring at me with nothing to say and the manager finally speaks up and says something like, “well next time they will remake it” and I was already walking out because no one was willing to help me. Was really excited to start coming here and using the app, looks like I am going to another location instead. And the wrap was absolutely tiny, compared to my boyfriends. They were the same exact thing.

Not really sure why the GM always has an attitude at this location. Walked in and walked right out. I’m not going to spend money at an establishment that is not welcoming.

One of my favorite places to eat and get a great smoothie. Açaí berry boost is my all time favorite!!

The guy working cash register/making smoothies tonight was EXTREMELY unfriendly and plain rude. I asked for bbq chips and he told me they were out (I saw the basket full) but it was no big deal. I just got a different type. He made our smoothies - while staring. Once he gave them to us, he continued to stare/make eye contact with me as he opened a bag of bbq chips and ate them. Overall just got creeped out, couldn’t even bring myself to drink the smoothie or eat the food We have always LOVED tropical smoothie, but this makes us not want to return.

If you like healthy food, go here. If you are Vegan, go here. I’m a vegetarian and always replace the meat with Plant based. This is my go-to place now. Vegetarian options: Anything can be made vegetarian or Vegan here. Just let them know and they will replace meat with plant based meat.

The smoothies have always been tasty and refreshing at Tropical Smoothie. But recently I tried their wraps and sandwiches and was pleasantly surprised at the wonderful taste.

Do NOT go here. **PHOTOS INCLUDED** I ordered food on October 21 and found a foreign item in my food. In addition to this they forgot my sweet potatoes. I called the following day for a refund and was informed by Angela that I would receive a full refund for these mistakes and that she would pass it along to her general manager to process. A week went by and still no refund. Another week by at still no refund. I called again and spoke with Angela several more times and she said that she had told the GM, but that she would follow-up regarding my FULL refund and that he would call me if need be. A day after this phone call on November 6, I received an email saying I was getting a partial refund. I called and spoke directly to the GM because I was told I would be getting a full refund, not a partial refund. The GM said that Angela never promised me a full refund and that he can’t give me one. I asked for a corporate number and he said he could not give me one. I repeat, do NOT go here. They offer terrible customer service and you will find items in your food that should not be there. I will be finding a corporate number to report this store.
