Very good restaurant! We stopped for lunch and had their house special plus another couple of things. Everything was delicious, service very good and nice atmosphere. Good value for money. Absolutely recommended.
just the best, really, traditional sushi place in NYC, amazing quality (and great price) make all the long lines worth it
The issue that makes my review so low is the WAIT time. This problem was we were waiting outside in the cold for a HOUR. They completely wasted our time for not that good quality of food. They let those with only 2 people go first. I think one 10 different pairs of people before they let my family in. They had unfair treatment and didn’t do first come first serve. I was extremely dissatisfied after they switched owner. The server was extremely rude. This place was obviously not meant for those with more than two people. The waiter recognized us but took advantage of how we used to go there. I said my final goodbye because I will NEVER COME BACK!!!
Would not seat us for an hour with open seats while we had a very old woman and a very young baby. Seated those before us while saying first come, first serve. Unfair seating. Used to love it as a child but it changed owners and you can notice the change. Although Asian they still favor white people and are racist.
we call this place "big sushi", it's is the only sushi place i'll eat at in NYC. somehow they consistently have the best tasting fish at reasonable prices, and they don't skimp on the size of the pieces (like every other place in this city does). favorites: spicy hotate handroll, sashimi/sushi regular, and all their tuna is somehow always top notch.
