The Porter Beer Bar

Visited in October 2014. The Porter Beer Bar is an amazing place in the hipster area of Atlanta, Little 5 Points. It has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with a nice decor and friendly staff. The beer selection is impressive. You can find anything from local brews to rare imports, and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They also serve food, but I didn't eat there. I had a great time and I wish I had a chance to visit this great place again.

The best. Molly is the best as well. Get the salt and vinegar popcorn.

Too bad it has not been open since the new owners have bought the place. I’m not sure if this place will ever open again. Fingers crossed.

A monstrous selection of different beers of all types. From exotic to mundane, any style of beer you can think of they will have more iterations of it than you have time or money to ever possibly experience everything they have. If you like trying new ales, this is your place. Parking: There are nearby paid parking lots, but none strictly for this business.

We love walking to The Porter for a great selection of beers and delicious food.

Fantastic food, service and beer selection

I used to rave about The Porter. They had the BEST burger in Atlanta. Put H+F and other lame places to shame. Then one day the burger changed. Horrifying. Raw onions. Unmelted cheese. What? The whole menu changed and its devastating. I still love the beer, vibes and staff, but I'm gonna miss the hella garlicy garlic fries. Ugh. I guess inflation/covid really impacting the price of ingredients but the food now isn't worth it.
