The Pad Thai Stand

Yummy Pad Thai. I didn’t know about the regional differences until I found this place. We got northern and southern and both were tasty. I wish there had been more meat for the price. The packaging was a little sloppy, with food residue smeared on the outside of the box. They put it in a bag, so thankfully I didn’t have to worry about it getting the car dirty, but we did need to serve it on a plate when we got home. They did a good job with atmosphere despite being a walk up window at the edge of a shopping center right next to the street. There were string lights and a few tables where you could sit and eat there. Parking: Ample parking in the Carnival supermarket shopping center lot.

This place has the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had. It was so good that the first time we had it we went back the next day. Their service is amazing too. We chatted with who we assume is the owner a bit and he was super cool and friendly. Highly recommend.

Pad Thai was fantastic but the food took over 30 minutes to arrive after I ordered 2 pad Thais.

The food was good until I took my last bite and I bit into a plastic screw/peg. I could have broken a tooth or swallowed it.

Great, authentic pad Thai! We ordered the lobster pad Thai northern style and the seafood (shrimp, scallops, mussels, calamari) pad Thai southern style. Everything tasted great, with lots of love. We also got a Thai tea which was very tasty. Extremely nice and sweet staff and the food came out quickly. Dog friendly patio as well. Definitely recommend!

Great food! I tried the northern Pad Thai and it did not miss, the noodles where cooked perfectly. I'll be back to try the other specialties.

Got the northern pad thai with veggies + extras as well as a coconut cream thai tea and everything tasted amazing. Everyone in my group loved their orders as well. The owner is great, the experience was great, food came out quick and I had enough for leftovers. Yippie!!!

Amazing authentic pad thai! Best in San Diego. Highly recommend for anyone looking for the real deal. My husband won’t order pad thai anywhere else! Nat, the owner, is also super friendly!
