I've been to The Optimist four times, and this was undoubtedly the best. Our server, Amanda, was absolutely amazing! Every recommendation was perfection for appetizers, cocktails, our entrees, and dessert. Plus, the care, energy, and zeal she came to the table with each time was simply unmatched. She checked on us regularly and was present but not overbearing. Honestly, I would eat at any restaurant if Amanda was our server! Also, I asked to speak to the manager because if the service was extremely poor, I would voice my concerns, so Amanda deserved for me to voice my feedback about her incredible service! Definitely ask to sit in her section when you go.

Absolutely one of the best places Iv been for fish in atlanta. The server had tons of charisma and charm. He was gluten free focused after someone in our party had allergies. It meant a lot. I will always recommend this place. Thank you
