Enjoyed the home cooked food very much. The old beams and high rafters were most impressive
Only popped in on spec. Friendly pub. We was going to have food but they was busy and we didn't want to wait. The manager apologised forcthe wait. It was nice to see it busy. Definitely go back again.
Quintessential English pub set in lovely countryside - good service, good food, good range of beers and a great atmosphere. Dog friendly too. Parking is generally plentiful.
We pipped in for a pint. Great local with loads of Archers memorabilia. Lucky locals!
A warm welcome, good service and lovely home cooked food which didn’t cost the earth, what’s not to like. We will definitely visit again when next in the area. Support this local gem we travelled 40mins the food was incredible!!
Absolutely wonderful 17th Century village pub in the quintessentially English idyllic vision of what an English village/country pub should be. Good ale and a wonderful atmosphere helped by a roaring fire. Lovely!!!
Nice little old pub. Popped in for a Christmas Eve drink, bar person (owner/landlady?) not very friendly and not much Christmas cheer. Might have been because our dog barked a little but whatever we won't bother them again.
