Been going here for a few years with my dog/dogs 2 little Shih Tzu's and found it super dog friendly. However this time we went we sat down went to the till to order and was asked for table number (5) and was told we weren't allowed to sit there as wasn't in the dog area. Then was pointed to where it was, but every table was full with non dog owners to which we then had to sit outside, go job the weather was nice. But my point is.... If you have a dog area make sure it for dog owners only. I asked the reason why this decision had been made and they said it was due to allergy sufferers. Well if that's the case then why would you allow non dog owners to sit in the dog area, it just doesn't make sense. I always enjoyed popping in there for a cuppa, before going to westall to leave flowers for my mum in law, my sister and my god sons two children, but not sure I'll bother now.
Nice garden centre with friendly helpful staff
All people so helpful & friendly! Great place for plants!
Visited the garden centre for the first time on Saturday. Very impressed with the variety of plants and reasonable prices. Decided to have lunch at the Cafe , had burger and chips but this doesn't do it justice!! Absolutely gorgeous. And very friendly staff, we will be back.
Lovely Quality choice of a small menu in the cafe.
Beautiful plants, well displayed. Staff were very helpful.
Well, what an absolute treat this was! Beautiful healthy plants, shrubs and trees for sale - all reasonably priced. Lots of choice with garden furniture and ornaments , and the gift shop was nice. Had a lovely meal at the cafe, nice surroundings and also reasonably priced. On top of all this, dogs are really welcomed here. In fact, he was given treats twice by the staff on the way round. There is a separate area for dogs in the cafe, so if dogs aren't your thing, you don't have to worry about it. All in all, a lovely way to spend a few hours, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. Will visit again very soon.
