Super eclectic little bar right off the ocean! Tracy was our bartender! Duper fun place!

Great dive bar especially with good bands. Kind of an institution. Right across from the ocean too. Def recommend.

Listen… we’re old, we’ve been here for a while. Never once have I ever had a bouncer check in on me until tonight. Luckily Sean was there to question my man’s behavior not knowing I know him but I appreciate it so much. Give him a raise please!!!!!

Like a movie scene, the Kraken Bar and Grill pops up out of nowhere on a dark and desolate coastal patch of 101 on Saturday night. The smallish lot is jam packed and cars are shoulder parked on the frontage. You hear rock-n-roll thumping inside the ramshackle building. I knew right away this was the place for some drinking and dancing. If you are over 21 and want to hear live rock music, forget about the Gaslamp and head to The Kraken. Projekt-X was hitting it hard till closing time and the floor was packed with people grooving until the staff shooed us out. Friendly bar staff, decent prices, so glad we stopped in. Wife was happy, what more can I say…
