The Drake in Laguna Beach

If you like Jazz and you would like good food, this is the place to go in Laguna. Our favorite place to go almost weekly. Chef Nick is a great chef and a wonderful friend. Staff are just unbelievable and friendly. The only word of caution is that you need to be aware of entertainment charges on the weekends. Ask about it and make sure you are ok with it before you book your table.

Food and music were great, but at the end of our dinner a server stopped by for a small talk with me and friends, started talking about russian history and their rightful claim on Ukraine, and so on. Then when learning that I am Ukrainian, and probably seeing my unhappy reaction to the conversation, he mentioned that it's sad to see Ukraine selling weapons to Gaza. It was extremely awkward to listen to that, and I hated to end my dining experience listening to such insensitive statements towards my nation while it's facing such difficult times dealing with genocide and destruction. I did like the food and service. My compliments to the chef for the amazing halibut.

celebrate my friend Wendy has a lucky day, I invited them to this restaurant, which was recommended by my friend Christopher. I really like the food here and Christopher's very professional piano and singing skills! A restaurant worth visiting. For dinner + wine + dessert, the three of us spent about $300! Affordable

Great food.Great Service.Great Atmosphere...the fail here is the acoustics.you will leave early vecause the noise levels are unbearable and it is impossible to have any conversation in this place...we were in the main dining area which was nice. The var area looks useless as u cant see anything and that outside strip area looked terrible to be in...hopefully they can add something to absorb sound

They just called us to cancel our reservation in the lounge because someone powerful enough just booked entire lounge. We already built our plans to listen to talented Lia Booth there, however this place doesn't treat their customers well and easily cancel ALL reservations in the lounge for someone else. Why you guys even provide the reservations service, if you don't obey to reservations made in advance??? Food is good in this place to be fair
