Closed!?! Wife and I are big fans of the Nashville location, so on a recent Florida trip we wanted to eat here. We traveled 2 hours out of our way, and booked a room for the night to stay nearby after dinner, before continuing our trip the next day. When we arrived we were told that they closed and haven't been open for more than a month. Huge bummer and money wasted. Please update your website!!!!

We ate at The Hall yesterday, and I ordered from Chef and I. We sat at a table right in front of Chef and I, and I was having some trouble finding something to eat. Randy, the chef, came out of the kitchen when we heard me asking all these questions to Butters, our server. Randy explained different preparations, items, the full 9 yards. His customer service was AMAZING, and that’s the last thing you would expect from a back of house employee. After much deliberation, I settled on the Nashville Hot Salt Chicken. It’s was delicious, and if they ever bottle up their chili aoli..I’m buying a case. Spicy with a kicked added so much to the dish. Just what I look for. Thanks guys! I will for sure be back! Esp once I’m not restricted to just chicken lol It wasn’t very busy when we dined that day, so if you go when it’s slammed, please give Randy a break with being able to come out from the Kitchen to help. He still has to cook the food folks. Dietary restrictions: Accommodating, but if you are going during peak busy hours..expect a longer cook time. That’s only natural.

This is the only reason I go to the Hall on Yard. The food is consistently great. The roasted cauliflower appetizer is a meal in itself but I was feeling greedy, so I added the risotto as a side. Amazing. :) I just wish they had a standalone location away from the chaos that is the Hall, or I'd be there once a week LOL.

We decided to give this restaurant a try and sadly we were disappointed. My husband ordered the Roasted Butternut Caprese Salad, which he enjoyed and I had the Lobster & Gulf Shrimp Thai Coconut Bisque. The “bisque” was $16 and it had three shrimp and maybe 1/2 cup of broth. Nothing about this bisque resembled a bisque, it was more of a soup and there was nothing coconut or Thai about it. It simply tasted like fire roasted shrimp, basic broth with some kind of oil and a pinch of micro greens. I was disappointed to say the least. We had planned on having a full meal but opted to go elsewhere. I don’t think we will try it again.

Sometimes life just happens. My wife was supposed to visit and help her mom having health issues out of state. My mother was to come and accompany my 5 year old foodie daughter and I to an awesome chef battle cook off event at The Chef and I. Then I got Covid, cancelling all of it. While delighting in the food at The Chef and I will have to wait a week or two, we are all super excited to go soon. Most important, Chef Chris and his team were helpful and understanding - even though this had been a rain or shine no cancellations ticketed event. We have no doubt the food will be amazing and keep us coming back just based on our non-culinary service experience this week. It’s nice to know there are still decent humans out there! It’s even nicer know they are also culinary wizards!

You cannot miss this amazing place! The Chef and I (at the Hall on the Yard) brings their delightful energy and diverse but thoughtful flavors to Orlando! The Hall is a unique concept - you and all your friends can order from any one of 9 amazing restaurants. No more of the “where do you want to eat?” dilemma. I recommend reservations, but I’ve also walked in and sat at the Chef and I’s bartop twice during less busy hours. Try the cauliflower app or sea scallops entree if you aren’t sure where to start. Delightful! Full disclosure: I’m from Nashville. I already knew I would love it here but even I was surprised by how much. Check it out!
