We found this hole in the wall while looking for something to eat and seeing the word Taco on the sign. We decided to give it a shot because we were extremely hungry. Walking in, we were greeted warmly, and given our menus quickly. Our server was attentive, and seems to balance out task well with her co server. Our food was clearly traditional so make sure you’re clear about what you want if you’re not familiar with traditional Mexican food. We are familiar, so ordering went well. Tortillas were warm, chorizo queso was great. They also don’t have foundations, so we had our drinks from can or bottle. Over all, great food, great service. Will be back. Kid-friendliness: We didn’t bring children, but I did notice the server kindly helping a child who walked up to her at the expo window and asking for something.
Edit: I'm changing my review from five stars to one & and honestly, I'd go lower if I could. I ended up being rushed to the hospital as well as my wife for severe food poisoning. We've been recovering for nearly a week now & I still feel terrible. I've had food poisoning before, but nothing like this. I really liked the California burritos & I drove an hour & a half to get them. Never again will I eat here. And I'm definitely making a report. This is unacceptable. To have two different orders get contaminated means you're doing something wrong. I don't want a refund, I don't want free food. I want y'all to have & keep proper food safety standards. Original below: I always get the loaded burrito & yes it is amazing. The salsa could use a bit or work, it's watery & the chips were semi stale last time. The staff are super friendly & the food comes out correctly & hot even with big orders, where as most places mess times up & either bring cold food or had it under a heat lamp.
