Station 16

I came here in 2019 and had their clam chowder. It was the best clam chowder I had ever had. I was disappointed to find that they did away with the presentation and quality of this dish in 2024. This was one of my biggest reasons to come back to Sacramento. Probably won't go out of my way to come back but the food was still good. Pretty sad to hear they did away with this amazing dish. Rest of the food was good but nothing to write home about. Calamari was a little chewy and under seasoned only had appetizers.

Very good and clean, nice place. I diffinetly want to go back to try other plates. Breakfast was good. And my waiter was great

Food was delicious, prices are on the higher side, 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill. We had a party of 6 bill was 374.00 after tax and tip

Delicious food! Service was also amazing, our friendly waitress would check on us constantly and made sure we had anything we needed. The decor is super inviting and comfortable too.

3.5 stars overall I was craving raw oysters and french fries. I gathered up the family and made reservations for 4:45 pm. That was the only time available for the same day. I prefer to eat early, so that was fine. Despite limited street parking on Saturday, we still arrived a couple of minutes early. The restaurant was maybe 1/3 full with many empty tables but we had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. Not impressed! We got the chilled seafood platter appetizer to share and we each ordered an entree. The seafood platter took a while which I didn't mind but what I DO MIND is our entrees came out simultaneously. Personally, the timing when the food arrive to the table is important to me, especially at a nice table service restaurant. We should be enjoying the seafood platter first but I didn't want my entree to get cold, so I felt like I had to rush and not truly enjoy my meal. Food was a solid 4 stars. The garlic noodles (side dish) is a must order. It was savory and delicious. The lobster roll was good but I wish they would use another type of bread instead of sourdough bread? It was hard to eat or bite into and I had to take it apart. The lobster mac & cheese and chicken alfredo was just okay. The Sangria with white mango, white wine, mango puree, triple sec, lime and soda hit the spot. I would go back for the drinks and maybe brunch.

As someone who has been committed to sobriety for the past six months, my recent experience at Station 16 was disappointing and concerning. Despite clearly ordering a non alcoholic drink , they served me alcohol without hesitation. Mind you I wasn’t even carded. This lack of attention to my situation is not only irresponsible but also potentially harmful. The manager was very dismissive and rude. It's essential for restaurants to respect their customers' choices and support their well-being, especially regarding sensitive matters like sobriety. I hope Station 16 takes this feedback seriously and implements better protocols to prevent similar incidents in the future.

The food was amazing, steak and lobster, both cooked to perfection. Service was a little slow. It took 10 minutes after being seated for someone to get our drink order and it was not busy.

The food we ordered was good. However, the service was horrendous!!!!!! Our server I believe was named Blanca. She was beyond rude. I always hate when people don’t write orders down, so needless to say we didn’t get everything we ordered and we were charged for things we didn’t order. We ordered some melted butter after we got our meal. It never came. When we asked her a second time, she wasn’t willing to go back and grab it or ask about it. She got to the point where she just started ignoring us completely. She didn’t refill our drinks once. She didn’t come over after we got our food to ask if we needed anything. No offer for dessert. She actually left - her shift ended, and she never came to say she was leaving or that someone else would be serving us. To top it off, I found out that a friend had also gone to dine here the same day that we went and they had the same experience. It’s way too expensive to be treating customers as if they are burdens!!!!!
