I can't believe how rude these staff are. I'm genuinely shocked, and looking at these reviews it's pretty clear that this isn't a one off. How is this allowed to keep happening?
Parking: Part of the Sainsbury's on the retail site so parking is plentiful
Nasty, rude girls. Bleach blonde hair barista and brown haired barista, ignores customers to talk about Only Fans and their new tattoos. I had a free drink, chose the salted caramel cold brew. The cold brew was very bitter and didn’t taste like it usually does. After nicely asking for a replacement very apologetically, they proceeded to mimic us “can have this in a small” ( in a high pitched voice ) as they remade it and were slagging us off. Extremely upsetting and unprofessional as we were very apologetic and don’t believe our request was too much to ask for. As someone who is a supervisor at another big coffee branch this is not something that is acceptable and would never dream of treating a customer in this way. 9/8 - 4:30pm
This Starbucks is attached to a Sainsbury's. Because of this there is a supermarket cafe feel rather than the premium feeling you get in other Starbucks establishments. Their menu is reduced in size and options. Apart from this, the selection of food and cakes is still good for vegans, the plant based milks are not a surcharge and the lady who has served me twice now is a joy to speak to and has great customer service.
Very stiff customer service. The drinks were not the best at all. and I’m sure cows milk was used instead of alternative milk, I did not see an almond milk carton in sight. It doesn’t hurt to smile especially when customers are polite! The worst thing is I used to work for Starbucks during my undergrad years and I would never be so stiff and cold with customers. Sort it out. Your store is empty for a reason
I had a terrible experience, Amy was very rude and not friendly at all! I also noted she was rude to her colleagues while serving me, snapping at her. I mean, how unprofessional and inappropriate! When I asked the other barrister her role, I was alarmed and shocked to learn she was a manager. I will be raising this with Starbucks head office as they should take more care when picking their staff. Amy if you so happen to read this, how you treat others is a reflection of yourself so I hope you heal from whatever it is you’re going through. SEEK THERAPY!
