If i could give ZERO stars i would. Had a birthday party here and can not belive the attitude from some staff including the manager! Got there at 9 to set up for party start at 12. Waited outside for 90 minutes before someone turned up to open up. Managed to get in and set up party started great until the manager come in to the middle of my daughter party and announces that someone called to cancel she so had no idea the party was on. About 20 minutes later a member of bar staff came and said she need proof that I'd paid for the room. I explained I did and had reciepts to prove. She then said she need to see them. At the point I said this is ridiculous. I got the reciept and showed the bar staff who said she needed them. When I said NO that's the only proof I have to get my deposit back the manager comes storming in gets in my face and starts having a go at my while my toddler was standing between us!!! I asked the manager just to go so we could enjoy the rest of the party when she then says yh If I let ya I could just kick you all out... she then left. I went outside for some air as I was extremely angry. Only to see that same manager having a fight outside with one of the bar staff boyfriends. So not only did the manager ruin my daughter party the police turning up only ruined it more. There was also NO glasses had to use plastic 200ml cups and NO change behind the bar either everyone was told to use card. Was also told at 12 there would be no bar staff as the staff hadnt tunred up. We did get a bar staff but not for the full time she was going between so getting a drink was taking about 15-20minutes. I will not be leaving this at this I will be contacting the people who own the club and the council as someone who acts like this sound not be allowed to run a place with a liquor licence.

Lovely staff room was very clean for what we wanted and would definitely stay again.. Great atmosphere and friendly people.. Thank you all at Mimworth Lodge.

Had our company's charity event there. Outdated place, furniture, and decor. Toilets bad, water tabs falling off, out off soap.

I’d prefer to give a half a star. I was caught short to book accommodation on the road from London to Holyhead, I was pleased that I got a room sorted. Unfortunately this was where the satisfaction ended. I arrived late at night and when I checked in there was no reception open just a key left behind the bar. The room was filthy and being early January I had expected there to be heating on, an app on the phone measured 8 degrees inside the room. Headboards were hanging off the wall, the floor hadn’t been vacuumed in god knows how long. The beds and blinds were stained so badly that the room just felt filthy, I didn’t sleep a wink in the place mostly due to the cold and the stink of cigarettes. I had planned to have breakfast at 0930hrs and then head off but losing the battle to sleep and will to live I got out of there shortly after 0600hrs. Honestly I’d rather sleep in the car next time.
